This webinar will be presented by Victoria Whiteley and Laura McGarrigle. Victoria and Laura say: “We’ll share our experience of navigating our research journey from a clinical role, focusing on pre-doctoral fellowships and next steps. We’ll provide honest reflections and practicalities of clinicians trying to develop their role in research.”
This webinar is aimed at AHPs looking at developing their own research ideas and considering a predoctoral fellowship application.

Stroke Association fellowship awards.
Applications for Postgraduate, Postdoctoral and Lectureship awards are now open. All three awards have Clinical-Academic pathways where candidates can combine research with clinical practice. The Stroke Association are running two webinars next week for prospective applicants. Each webinar will include a short presentation on the awards/application process led by Louise Flanagan (Head of Research) and Emily Wright (Research Officer) followed by the opportunity to ask questions. The College of Paramedics Small Grants for Research Scheme.
The College of Paramedics is again running a small grant scheme to support Paramedic research. The aim is to support members of the College of Paramedics to carry out research studies. A maximum of three studies will be funded to a maximum of £1,250 each. The deadline is Monday 9th December.
