Philip Maton, Treasurer
Philip is thrilled to serve on the trustee board of аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û2023, where he can combine his lifelong passion for music with a commitment to making a difference through music therapy. Although his early love for music, particularly playing the flute and saxophone, did not lead to a professional career, he is eager to contribute to аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û2023's impactful work and learn more about how music therapy benefits individuals and communities.
Professionally, Philip has dedicated his career to the finance sector. He began in banking and later transitioned into corporate treasury. Since 2017, he has been with Liberty Global, one of Europe's leading telecommunications companies. In his role, he manages financial risks related to interest and exchange rates, as well as pensions and cash management.
Philip holds an MA in Mathematics from Cambridge University and is a CFA charterholder. In his spare time, he enjoys playing football, exploring new craft beers, and indulging his interest in steam trains. Originally from London, Philip now lives in Buckinghamshire with his family.
